Tack vare sina hållbara egenskaper och dess enkla installationsteknik är K2-KAN det optimala avloppssystemet för de flesta. Det kan läggas under starkt trafikerade vägar liksom i andra, mindre traffikerade, områden. Dess hållbarhet uppskattas till minst 100 år, därför är investeringen mycket kostnadseffektivt. Rörets låga vikt underlättar betydligt läggning och montering av diverse vatten- och avloppledningsnät. K2-KAN rör är 2 - 3 gånger lättare än andra plaströr med massiv vägg och 15 - 20 gånger lättare än betongrör. Med tanke på att rören är lättmonterade, dess låga vikt och systemets användarvänlighet vid skarvning och montering ger en arbetstidsbesparing på ca 20 - 30%.
