Double-sided butyl tape with UV resistance

This double-sided butyl tape is designed to offer a strong and long-lasting adhesion to a variety of surfaces such as plastic, sheet metal and aluminium. The tape is specially designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and is effectively protected against UV light, thanks to its 50-year ageing resistance. It is also resistant to harmful chemicals, mould, and can handle varying temperatures without losing its adhesion. The product is P-labelled and is an excellent splicing aid for polyethylene building foil, which is used as an air and vapour barrier in structures. For optimal application, make sure the surface is clean, dry and completely free of moisture. Apply the tape with an even pressure initially. Ideally applied for construction projects requiring windbreaks, permeable roof membranes and vapour barriers.
