Mataki Roofing Compound is an optimal product for maintaining and extending the life of your felt, felt roof or waterproofing systems. If your felt roof has started to age and dry out, its lifespan can be extended by around three years with a much-needed treatment of Mataki Roofing Compound. Make sure to pre-treat the roof with Mataki Asphalt Primer first to ensure good adhesion of the roofing compound. Please note that Mataki Roofing Compound is designed to offer protection, and should not be used as a solution to repair broken roofing felt. In addition, the product is not suitable for use on tar paper. Standard consumption of the material is between 0.5 and 0.8 litres per square metre and has a drying time of 2-3 hours under normal conditions at 20°C.
