Mataki Roofing Compound - Extend the Life of Your Roof
Mataki Roofing Compound is an optimal product for maintaining and extending the life of your felt, felt roof or waterproofing systems. If your felt roof has started to age and dry out, its lifespan can be extended by around three years with a much-needed treatment of Mataki Roofing Compound. Make sure to pre-treat the roof with Mataki Asphalt Primer first to ensure good adhesion of the roofing compound. Please note that Mataki Roofing Compound is designed to offer protection, and should not be used as a solution to repair broken roofing felt. In addition, the product is not suitable for use on tar paper. Standard consumption of the material is between 0.5 and 0.8 litres per square metre and has a drying time of 2-3 hours under normal conditions at 20°C.
- Effective for the maintenance of surface felt/felt roofing/waterproofing
- Extends the life of old and dried out felt roofing by approx. 3 years
- Use in combination with Mataki Asphalt Primer for best adhesion
- Protects existing felt roofing but does not repair damaged felt
- Cannot be applied to tarred felt
- Use: 0.5-0.8 l/m2
- Drying time: 2-3h at +20°C
