Multiskanner HD900c Zircon
Article number 69268
Description
The HD900c multi-scanner easily and quickly detects the centre and outer edges of wood studs, metal studs and beams through floors, ceilings and walls. The tool's advanced ColorTrip display lights up green when searching for studs, blue when searching for metal and red in AC search mode. The display glows red or flashes to warn of live wires in StudScan, DeepScan, and Metal Scan modes. A four-position switch makes it easy to change functions. The SpotLite marker and a clear backlit display, as well as a tone signal indicate the location of the object. Technical data: StudScan mode finds the outer edges of wood and metal studs at up to 19 mm search depth. DeepScan mode doubles the tool's search depth up to 38 mm deep. WireWarning detection indicates the presence of energised AC wires at up to 51 mm depth in the metal and stud scan modes. Metal Scan mode detects non-magnetic metal such as copper pipes up to 38 mm deep and magnetic metal such as rebar up to 76 mm deep. AC Scan mode detects live unshielded AC power lines up to 51 mm deep. ACT: (Automatic Correction Technology) automatically corrects common errors, such as starting the scan over a line. ColorTrip display with Target Spotlight indicates the direction and outer edge of the line and lights up when the centre of the line is located. Low battery indication for optimal performance. Signal strength indicator helps determine if an object is deep or low below the surface. SpotLite marker shows an arrow-shaped light mark on the wall that clearly points out the centre of a line. Semi-transparent base plate and illuminated V-shaped marking notch provide precise marking of the rule edges.

MultiScanner HD900c - Advanced detector
The MultiScanner HD900c speeds up and simplifies the search for the centre and outer edges of wood studs, metal studs and beams in walls, ceilings and floors. The innovative ColorTrip display changes colour to show different functions: green for stud search, blue for metal search, and red for AC search. The display also warns with a flashing or solid red light when live wires are present. A four-position switch, SpotLite marker, clear backlit display and audio indication provide clear information about the location of the object for easier workflow and increased accuracy.
- StudScan mode detects outer edges of wood and metal studs up to 19 mm scanning depth
- DeepScan mode doubles the scanning depth up to 38 mm
- WireWarning detection indicates the presence of live AC wires up to 50 mm
- Metal Scan mode locates non-magnetic metal such as copper up to 38 mmmagnetic metal such as copper pipes up to 38 mm deep and magnetic metal such as rebar up to 75 mm deep
- AC Scan mode locates live unshielded AC lines up to 50 mm deep
- ACT (Automatic Correction Technology) automatically corrects common errors, for example, if the search starts over a line
- ColorTrip display with Target Spotlight indicates the direction and outer edge of the line and lights up when the centre of the line is detected
- Low battery indication for optimal performance
- Signal strength indicator helps determine if the object is low or deep below the surface
- SpotLitemarker shows an arrow-shaped light mark on the wall that clearly points out the centre of a rule
